Superintendent, Interior Healthcare Finishes
Location: Broward County, Florida
Our client is a well-established, women-owned and veteran-owned commercial general contractor specializing in healthcare construction throughout South Florida. Their portfolio includes extensive work within VA hospitals, government healthcare facilities, and occupied medical environments where quality, safety, and attention to detail are critical.
They are seeking an experienced Interior Finish Superintendent to oversee renovation and interior fit-out projects throughout Broward County. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company with a strong reputation, a stable pipeline of healthcare work, and a collaborative team culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day field operations from project start through closeout.
- Lead interior renovation and finish projects within active healthcare facilities.
- Coordinate subcontractors and all interior finish trades.
- Maintain project schedules while proactively resolving field issues.
- Ensure exceptional quality, safety, and compliance with healthcare construction standards.
- Work closely with project managers, owners, inspectors, and hospital personnel.
- Maintain organized, clean, and efficient job sites in occupied medical environments.
- Oversee inspections, punch lists, and final project completion.
What We’re Looking For
- Five or more years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent.
- Strong background managing interior renovations, tenant improvements, or finish work.
- Healthcare, hospital, VA, or government healthcare construction experience is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead subcontractors and keep projects on schedule.
- Experience working in occupied facilities with minimal disruption to daily operations.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Stable employment history with demonstrated project success.
