With decades of experience and a strong reputation for technical expertise, we are expanding rapidly across Colorado, Utah, Nevada, and the Southwest.
Joining our team means stepping into a growth opportunity where you can make a direct impact: delivering high-quality electrical work, supporting customers with advanced VFD and EV charging projects, mentoring apprentices, and contributing to estimating and project planning as we scale.

    POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician who is a self-starting leader, adaptable to different working environments, and motivated to grow both personally and professionally. This role includes hands-on electrical work, leading apprentices, and working with cutting-edge technologies such as variable frequency drives (VFDs) and EV charging infrastructure. The position also contributes to estimating projects to support our expanding commercial and industrial business.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Active Journeyman or Master Electrician license required.
    • High school graduate or GED equivalent.
    • Solid understanding of AC/DC fundamentals, VFD systems, and NEC Code.
    • General mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand/power tools.
    • Competence with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
    • Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Terminate both equipment and cable/wiring.
    • Read blueprints, estimate and determine scope of work, and order the correct materials.
    • Assemble and install electrical equipment, conduit, and systems.
    • Install, troubleshoot, and commission variable frequency drives (VFDs).
    • Install and service EV charging equipment and infrastructure.
    • Assist in estimating projects including material take-offs, labor, and time requirements.
    • Train and lead apprentice electricians on NEC code application and field practices.
    • Supervise apprentices to ensure timely and accurate job completion.
    • Apply NFPA 70E safety guidelines consistently in the field.
    • Maintain strong customer service and relationships, identifying new service opportunities.
    • Travel as needed to other job sites and remote locations.
    • Comply with all company and industry safety procedures.

    WORK CONDITIONS:
    • Must be able to work safely in all environments and weather conditions.
    • Ability to work from elevated platforms and operate heavy equipment (scissor lifts, aerial lifts, backhoe, etc.).
    • Ability to bend and cut conduit using hand and power tools.
    • Capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 60 lbs.

    Why Winn-Marion?
    • We offer competitive pay, relocation support, and a comprehensive benefits package:
    • 27+ days PTO annually (vacation, sick, holidays, birthday, floating holiday).
    • Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance.
    • FSA & HSA Options.
    • 401(k) with company match.
    • Discounts via Perks at Work.
    • Employee Assistance Program.
    • Company Truck & Fuel Card (with approved MVR).

Eligibility for benefits depends on the type of positions and whether the position is full-time, part-time, or temporary.  Any offer of employment is contingent upon passing pre-employment requirements, including drug screen and criminal background check.
