Responsibilities
Apply knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes.
Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, plans, specifications, and blueprints.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment.
Communicate technical information effectively with customers, team members, and management.
Follow industry safety standards, practices, and procedures.
Monitor and verify quality control and consistency of work performed.
Complete assigned projects independently with minimal supervision.
Prepare and maintain proposals, reports, schedules, and job documentation as required.
Measure, cut, bend, and thread conduit and electrical raceways.
Install, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial electrical systems.
Mentor and assist apprentices when assigned.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
Current Utah Commercial Journeyman Electrician License (required).
Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and applicable codes.
Valid driver's license.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights.
Ability to crouch, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces when necessary.
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds.
Ability to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor job site environments.
