Journeyman Electrician

About the Role
BLVD Electric Inc., a commercial electrical contractor with 150+ employees serving projects across California, is looking for experienced Journeyman Electricians to work on commercial buildings, ground-up construction, tenant improvements, hospitality, retail, and multifamily projects. This is an opportunity to work independently on serious commercial work, backed by the field leadership, systems, and support to help you keep growing.


Responsibilities

• Install commercial electrical systems safely and professionally, including conduit, wire, panels, switchgear, lighting, lighting controls, devices, and equipment connections
• Read and follow plans, details, layouts, and field direction
• Work with foremen and field leadership to complete daily tasks
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and proper housekeeping
• Track material needs, tools, equipment, and daily progress
• Communicate field conditions, missing material, plan conflicts, or jobsite issues to foremen
• Follow BLVD Electric quality, safety, and production standards
• Represent the company professionally with general contractors, inspectors, clients, vendors, and other trades

Requirements

• California Journeyman Certification preferred
• Commercial electrical experience required
• Ability to read plans and work independently
• Experience with conduit, wire, panels, lighting, devices, rough-in, trim-out, and commercial installations
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to grow
• Basic hand tools required
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

Pay
$32.00–$36.00 per hour, based on experience, certification, reliability, and production ability.

Work Location
Project-based commercial electrical work throughout California, primarily in Southern California.
