Job description:Job Overview:
Bluestem Outdoor Services is seeking dependable and hardworking Landscape Crew Members/Drivers to join our team. This position combines hands-on landscape installation and maintenance work with the responsibility of safely transporting crew members, equipment, and materials to and from job sites. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, reliable, and enjoys working outdoors as part as a team.
Responsibilities:- Assist with landscape installation projects, including planting, mulching, sod installation, drainage work, irrigation, and hardscape construction.
- Perform lawn maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and debris removal.
- Assist with tree and shrub care, including trimming and pruning.
- Operate landscaping equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, and pruners, to complete landscaping tasks
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with other landscaping and construction-related duties as assigned.
Driver Responsibilities:- Safely operate company vehicles, trucks, and trailers to transport crews, equipment, and materials to and from job sites.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Ensure vehicles, trailers, and equipment are properly secured and transported safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle.
- Follow all traffic laws, company driving policies, and DOT regulations as applicable.
- Assist crew members with loading and unloading equipment and materials
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Complete required vehicle inspection reports and other documentation as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:- Minimum of 1 year of landscaping, construction, lawn care, or related outdoor labor experience.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
- Ability to drive trucks and pull trailers safely.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
-Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
-Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
-Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
-Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
-Experience operating landscaping equipment.
