This position offers the opportunity to influence strategic decisions across an international organization undergoing significant technological and workflow transformation.Position OverviewFusion HCR is seeking a Commercial Lead Financial Analyst to provide financial stewardship, expertise, and governance for business metrics supporting capital investments, AI-powered platforms, product adoption, and revenue growth. Reporting to the Decision Support Manager, this role will define, track, interpret, and report key performance metrics throughout the AI transformation lifecycle.The position will deliver executive reporting, forward-looking analysis, planning support, investment evaluation, and ROI tracking for capital projects. It will also identify opportunities to improve finance workflows through automation and AI tools. Success requires close collaboration with Data Teams, Product Owners, Sales, Finance, Global Analytics, and senior business stakeholders to translate complex information into clear recommendations and actionable insight.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver timely management reporting, financial analysis, performance commentary, and actionable recommendations.
- Support strategic and tactical planning, budgeting, forecasting, and RF1/2/3 cycles.
- Evaluate business assumptions, trade-offs, opportunities, revenue drivers, and potential scenarios.
- Prepare clear messaging and content for budget presentations and executive reporting.
- Support investment decisions, including business cases, technology investments, acquisitions, product rollouts, and post-investment performance reviews.
- Lead the development and implementation of ROI tracking for capital projects.
- Partner with the AI Enablement team to identify, prioritize, and implement finance workflow automation opportunities.
- Enhance capital reporting capabilities using internal reporting and AI-enabled tools.
- Support annual audits and follow internal controls to maintain data integrity and consistency.
- Build effective relationships with CFOs, directors, business partners, Global Analytics, Data Teams, and other stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- At least four years of experience in a financial role within a global organization.
- Deep understanding of profit-and-loss metrics, financial drivers, and business performance dynamics.
- Degree or diploma in finance, accounting, business, or a related field; MBA or advanced business degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial and management accounting, financial processes, systems, and technical accounting standards.
- Demonstrated success working in an international environment and adapting to cultural and legal differences.
- Experience delivering financial services or processes during significant organizational change.
- Familiarity with current AI tools, curiosity about AI-enabled learning, and willingness to challenge existing processes.
- Advanced Excel skills and intermediate PowerPoint skills.
- Experience with Hyperion, PeopleSoft, or equivalent financial systems.
- Ability to communicate complex analysis clearly and provide well-structured recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
