Commercial Lending Officer

As a Commercial Lender, you will play a crucial role in the growth and success of our banking institution. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain relationships with commercial clients, providing them with the financial solutions they need to achieve their business goals. You will be responsible for analyzing loan applications, assessing creditworthiness, and structuring loan packages that meet the needs of both the client and the bank. By effectively managing a portfolio of commercial loans, you will contribute to the overall profitability and risk management of the bank.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of commercial lending experience is strongly preferred
• Experience in underwriting and managing complex commercial loan transactions.
• Knowledge of industry-specific lending practices and market trends.
• Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and loan structuring.
• Solid understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with commercial clients, acting as their primary point of contact for all financial needs.
• Analyze loan applications and financial statements to assess creditworthiness and determine appropriate loan structures.
• Prepare and present loan proposals to credit committees, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and manage a portfolio of commercial loans, including conducting regular credit reviews and proactively addressing any potential issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as credit analysts and loan operations, to ensure smooth and efficient loan processing and servicing.

Salary Range:

The salary range for this position is $75,000.00 - $100,000.00/year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, compensation may include bonuses, benefits, and other incentives.
