Essential Functions

  • Guided management of the process to track progress toward commercial acquisition and refinance loan closings:

  • Prepares and facilitates regular meetings with lenders and analysts.

  • Tracks assigned tasks and works with lender and/or leader to meet the closing timeline.

  • Orders appraisal, environmental and site visit reports from established third-parties.

  • Completes amortization schedules and lender closing costs worksheets.

  • Collaborates with leader to review loan documents and discuss open questions.

  • Drafts internally created loan documents (when applicable).

  • Follows an established checklist to ensure complete document packages are in place after closing:

  • Booking new commercial loans to the core loan system in a timely and accurate fashion.

  • Confirming that ticklers and covenants are established for future monitoring.

  • Assembling and electronically filing complete loan packages in a timely manner.

  • Assists in the collection and filing of collateral perfection, lien protection items, and monitoring items throughout the life of the commercial loan portfolio, including but not limited to:

  • Covenant tracking for required financial documents.

  • Insurance coverage.

  • Recorded Mortgage/Assignment of Leases & Rents and Final Title Policies.

  • UCC Filings/Renewals/Terminations.

  • Awareness of regulations applicable to commercial loans and deposit accounts including:

  • HMDA, for applicable loans secured by residential real estate.

  • Other regulatory and legal compliance related to commercial loans and deposit accounts.

  • Serves as a contact point for commercial members with questions regarding their Wings commercial loans.

  • Takes on assigned daily requests from members such as statements, loan and deposit account questions and completes wires with some guidance from leader or other members of the team.

  • Assists past due payments, NSF items, and post-closing item collection tasks.

  • Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Wings policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.

Minimum Formal Qualifications for this Position:

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D. required
  • Associate''s Degree Two-year post-secondary degree preferred
  • 3+ years of customer facing banking experience required
  • Some commercial servicing experience preferred
  • Bondable

Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • General knowledge of Commercial Deposit Account services and products.
  • Maintains current knowledge of Federal and State laws and regulations, as well as industry best practices, including BSA, AML, Patriot Act, CIP, and OFAC regulations and guidelines.
  • Proficient in the use of personal computer and software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Edge and Outlook as well as alternative web browsers.
  • Proficient in bank operating platforms and an understanding of loan documentation software.
  • Proactive self-starter while gaining the skills to manage multiple responsibilities, reprioritization and shifting deadlines.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, as well as utilizing critical thinking and judgement skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable working with people at all organizational levels; able to adapt to differing communication styles.

PAY RANGE: $28 to $32 (S13) plus 10% annual target bonus.

Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, certifications, location and internal pay equity.
