Commercial Lines Account Assistant - Entry Level

As an Account Assistant/Customer Service Representative you will play a key role in supporting our Commercial Lines team. Responsibilities include processing policy changes, responding to client and carrier requests, maintaining accurate database information, assisting with billing, and learning insurance rating systems.

While prior insurance experience is preferred, it is not required. We are looking for someone who is motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow within our organization.

Salary Range: $40000.00 - $48000.00 per year

Responsibilities

• Assist Account Managers and Producers
• Maintain contact with clients, to ensure they receive the best customer service
• Maintain communication with underwriters
• Market agency client to insurance companies
• Complete policy changes, proposals, quote reviews, rating duties, etc.

• Must be willing to obtain property and casualty license at our cost.
• High School Diploma required.
• Post-secondary degree preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Professional office and phone etiquette
