Job Title: Commercial Lines Account Executive
Location: Remote (office based in Ilion, NY)
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Base Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 (DOE) + Uncapped Commission
1st Year Top Performer OTE: $120,000 - $150,000+

Our client is part of a well-established, privately held insurance brokerage with over 30 years of industry success and a strong national presence. Known for delivering personalized service and tailored coverage solutions, they continue to grow by investing in high-performing sales professionals.

This is an opportunity to step into an existing book of business while also driving new revenue growth-offering both immediate income potential and long-term earning opportunity.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and grow an existing book of commercial lines business
  • Develop new business through prospecting, referrals, and networking
  • Assess client needs and recommend customized insurance solutions
  • Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and coverage options
  • Close new business consistently and meet or exceed sales targets
  • Build long-term client relationships and identify cross-selling opportunities
  • Partner with internal teams to support client servicing and retention

What Success Looks Like

  • Expanding and retaining your assigned book of business
  • Building a strong pipeline of new commercial clients
  • Consistently achieving monthly production goals
  • After initial ramp (30-45 days), targeting ~$70K-$80K in monthly premium

Required Qualifications

  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License
  • 3+ years of experience in personal and/or commercial lines insurance
  • 2+ years of sales experience (inside or outside sales)
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage a pipeline independently
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in policy and transaction handling
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with multiple insurance carriers
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
