Commercial Lines Account Manager
Location: Kingston NY
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Salary: 60,000.00
Growing Kingston NY based Family owned and operated 2nd generation Insurance Agency is seeking to add an additional Commercial Lines Account Manager for our busy office.
Requirements:
Licensed NY State Property & Casualty Broker and/or Agents License. Minimum 3 years of experience working in an Insurance Agency Commercial Lines Customer Service position. Applicant must be familiar with all aspects of servicing and writing Commercial Insurance. Personal Lines experience a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows programs. Skilled with various carrier websites for quoting and servicing accounts. Reliable transportation. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Most Holidays & weekends off. Benefits & 401k available. This is an in-office position with a focus on Customer Service with the ability to also sell & earn commission.
Some of the typical job duties include:
Taking client calls & occasional walk-in client requests
Gathering information and quoting new accounts as well as quoting endorsements and additional lines for existing clients
Renewal reviews, Working with Producers on new and existing accounts
Answering phones when receptionist is away from desk or out of office
Claims reporting along with helping clients and carriers for a fair and timely settlement
