SNI Companies is working with a large insurance company who is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Distribution Representative to drive agency growth and strengthen broker relationships throughout Maryland and Delaware. This role is ideal for a sales-driven insurance professional with an established network and a successful track record in Commercial Lines sales, underwriting, agency relations, or business development.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage relationships with commercial insurance agencies and brokers.
Recruit and develop new agency partners within the territory.
Drive new business growth through agency engagement and strategic account development.
Identify cross-sell, upsell, and account retention opportunities.
Partner with underwriting teams to deliver competitive solutions.
Represent the organization at industry and networking events.
Qualifications
5+ years of Commercial Property & Casualty insurance experience.
Background in Commercial Lines Sales, Production Underwriting, Agency Relations, Distribution Management, or Business Development.
Strong agency and broker network in Maryland and/or Delaware preferred.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Active Property & Casualty License preferred (or ability to obtain).
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $95,000 - $110,000
Quarterly and annual bonus opportunities
