Commercial Lines Marketing Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Marketing Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining carrier relationships, preparing marketing submissions, negotiating terms, and placing coverage for new and renewal commercial insurance business. You will serve as a key liaison between producers, clients, and carriers to ensure the delivery of comprehensive insurance solutions that meet client needs and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with producers to develop effective marketing strategies for new and renewal business.

• Prepare and submit complete and accurate submissions to insurance carriers.

• Analyze carrier quotes and coverage options, negotiate pricing and terms, and present recommendations.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, brokers, and underwriters.

• Track and manage the progress of marketing efforts to ensure timely placement of coverage.

• Assist in the preparation of proposals and presentations for clients.

• Ensure all marketing activity is documented in the agency management system.

• Stay current with industry trends, carrier appetites, and changes in insurance products.

• Provide guidance and support to account managers and producers regarding market conditions and carrier preferences.

• Ensure compliance with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in insurance or related field.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance marketing or account management.

• Active Property & Casualty insurance license required.

• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance lines including property, casualty, general liability, workers compensation, and specialty coverages.

• Experience with carrier rating systems, comparative raters, and agency management systems (e.g., EPIC, Applied, AMS360).

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
