A respected regional law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing Albany office. This opportunity offers hands-on experience handling sophisticated business litigation matters for companies, financial institutions, developers, and high-net-worth clients in state and federal courts.

Responsibilities
- Handle commercial and business litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda
- Conduct legal research and support litigation strategy
- Manage discovery, document review, and e-discovery processes
- Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
- Collaborate with attorneys and clients on case development and strategy
Qualifications
- 2–10 years of commercial or business litigation experience
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Experience with motion practice, discovery, pleadings, and trial prep
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active admission to the New York State Bar is required
Preferred Background
Experience in complex commercial litigation, business disputes, shareholder disputes, contract litigation, or financial litigation is highly valued.
