Job Details

Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Litigation Associate, you will be expected to perform the following duties:

1. Manage all phases of litigation from investigation, pleadings and discovery
2. Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
3. Conduct research on complex litigation issues to effectively provide legal advice.
4. Collaborate with partners and clients to develop litigation strategies.
5. Represent clients in court or before government agencies.
6. Attend depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
7. Manage relationships with clients to maintain the firm's reputation for excellence and client satisfaction.
8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other attorneys in the commercial litigation practice area.
9. Stay updated with changes in law and inform clients about the implications of these changes on their cases.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Commercial Litigation Associate position should possess the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial litigation.
3. Admission to the state bar.
4. Exceptional legal writing, research, and communication skills.
5. Proven experience in drafting and preparing pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to handle large caseloads, manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
8. Excellent negotiation skills.
9. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
