Summary:We are seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with 1â3 years of litigation experience to join a nationally recognized litigation practice. This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys handling complex commercial disputes, developing litigation strategy, and representing clients through all phases of the litigation process. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced litigators while gaining meaningful responsibility, courtroom exposure, and direct client interaction. What You'll Do:- Assist in managing commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation-related documents.
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategy for complex commercial disputes.
- Prepare and file documents in both state and federal courts.
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances.
- Manage discovery, including document review, written discovery, and witness preparation.
- Collaborate with partners and litigation teams to provide strategic legal solutions for clients.
- Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial.
- Maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and exceptional client service.
Experience You'll Need:- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing of The Florida Bar.
- 1â3 years of general commercial litigation experience.
- Experience practicing in both Florida state and federal courts.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
- Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments effectively.
- Outstanding academic credentials and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
