A bit about us:
Our client is a full-service, multi-office law firm with a large East Coast presence. It has grown steadily by bringing in strong lawyers and giving them room to build. The litigation group handles business disputes of every size, from contract fights between closely held companies to multi-party commercial cases that go to trial. Clients include middle-market businesses, entrepreneurs, real estate owners and lenders, and the Firm keeps a lot of them for the long term. Litigators here work closely with the corporate, real estate and finance groups, so a lawyer who builds a client relationship has a full platform to serve that client.
Why join us?
Real ownership of your cases. At 5–10 years you’ll run matters, not just draft pieces of them, and you’ll be the day-to-day contact for clients.
Time in court. You’ll take depositions, argue motions and handle hearings yourself, and you’ll be part of the trial team when cases go to trial.
A realistic hours target. The billable requirement is 1,700, so there’s room for business development, mentoring and a life outside the office.
Credit for your own clients. Lawyers who bring in work are rewarded for it, and the Firm’s range of practice groups makes cross-selling easy.
Competitive pay of $160,000–$200,000 depending on experience, plus a full benefits package.
A clear path forward. The Firm promotes from within, and associates who build a practice can see what it takes to make partner.
