Commercial Litigation Paralegal - CA

HumanHire is partnered with a top national Law Firm to find a Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join the firms growing team remotely, based in California. 

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience supporting California litigation defense matters in a law firm environment and be comfortable managing multiple cases from inception through resolution.

Responsibilities: 

• Provide comprehensive paralegal support to attorneys handling California commercial and civil litigation matters.
• Assist with cases from initial filing and pleadings through discovery, settlement, trial, and post-trial proceedings.
• Draft, prepare, and file pleadings, motions, discovery documents, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Assist with written discovery, including preparation and review of interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission, and responses.
• Coordinate discovery processes, including document collection, review, organization, and production.
• Assist attorneys with deposition preparation, including organizing exhibits, deposition materials, and relevant case documents.
• Conduct legal and factual research and assist attorneys with case preparation.
• Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files.

Qualifications: 

• 3+ years of Commercial Litigation Paralegal experience
• Law Firm experience required
• Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor's Degree
