ABOUT THE ROLE

A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all stages of complex litigation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with hands-on experience supporting discovery, court filings, e-discovery, and trial preparation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support attorneys throughout all stages of commercial litigation matters.
• Prepare, organize, and electronically file legal documents with state and federal courts.
• Create and maintain organized case files, calendars, databases, and litigation records.
• Manage deadlines and track case activity to ensure timely completion of critical tasks.
• Review, proofread, Bates label, organize, and prepare documents for discovery, pleadings, and motions.
• Conduct factual research and assist with case investigations.
• Coordinate subpoenas and third-party records requests and retrieval.
• Draft correspondence, memoranda, and other materials at the direction of attorneys.
• Support e-discovery activities, including collection, review, and production of electronically stored information.
• Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, evidence organization, witness coordination, and trial logistics.
• Accurately record billable time and provide sufficiently detailed descriptions in the firm's billing system.
