What You Will Do

  • Maintain and expand a portable litigation practice within the Boston market, targeting clients with significant legal needs.
  • Lead complex commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Develop and deepen client relationships while consistently meeting collection-based performance expectations.
  • Contribute meaningful personal billable work in addition to generating new business.
  • Collaborate with attorneys across various offices and practices to cross-sell services and leverage the firm's national resources.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives within the Boston office, enhancing the firm's overall market position.

Ideal Candidate Background

  • 8+ years of experience in commercial litigation with a strong track record in managing complex cases.
  • A portable book of business in the $750,000–$1,000,000+ range, with demonstrated historical collections approaching or exceeding $1 million annually.
  • A solid reputation in the Boston legal market with stable career progression.
  • Ability to operate within a collection-driven, working attorney model, billing at competitive rates.

Preferred

  • Experience in cross-selling legal services and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Established relationships with middle-market to institutional clients in the Boston area.
  • A proactive approach to business development and client engagement.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $400K to $750K, commensurate with experience and performance. This company offers a competitive benefits package designed to support the well-being and professional growth of its attorneys.
