Commercial Loan Officer

We are seeking an experienced commercial lending professional for a reputable credit union in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you’ll develop, manage, and grow a commercial loan portfolio by working closely with existing clients, potential new members, and referral sources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute strategic business development plans to meet lending goals
• Act as the face of our commercial lending services in the community and with members
• Build strong relationships with external partners to drive referrals and future growth
• Guide clients through the application process, ensuring all documentation is complete and communication is timely
• Remain informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive products
• Collaborate with internal departments to deliver outstanding service and tailored solutions
• Cross-promote a range of financial products and services based on member needs
• Manage an active commercial portfolio and maintain high standards of compliance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in business, finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of successful experience in commercial or business lending and servicing within a progressive and driven financial services company.
• Proven track record in achieving sales goals and managing client relationships
• Deep knowledge of commercial lending products, services, and regulations
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
