Commercial Loan Officer - West Fargo

First International Bank & Trust is seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Officer to join our West Fargo team. This role develops commercial banking relationships, grows a commercial loan portfolio, and delivers financial solutions that help local businesses succeed.

We are looking for a relationship-focused banker with strong credit skills and proven business development experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and grow commercial banking relationships with new and existing customers.
• Expand the commercial loan portfolio through business development, referrals, and active prospecting.
• Analyze financial statements, cash flow, collateral, and credit requests to make sound lending recommendations.
• Structure and negotiate commercial loan terms that meet customer needs while managing risk.
• Maintain regular customer contact to deepen relationships and identify additional banking opportunities.
• Monitor portfolio performance and maintain strong credit quality.
• Partner with internal teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
• Represent the Bank within the community and local business market.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; five or more years of commercial lending, business banking, or related commercial banking experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Strong understanding of commercial credit analysis, loan structuring, portfolio management, and lending documentation.
• Proven ability to develop business relationships and generate new commercial banking opportunities.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and judgment skills.
• Knowledge of commercial lending regulations and sound credit practices.
