Job Title: Commercial Loan Processing Specialist Department: NFGI Loan Processing Reports To: Director of Loan Administration FLSA Status: Non-exempt Position Summary The Commercial Loan Processing Specialist prepares documentation for all new, renewed, extended, and modified commercial loans. This role is responsible for the accurate production of loan documents through our documentation software and delivers a complete, compliant loan package to both the lender and the customer. In addition, this role contributes with following written procedures and proactively identifying and resolving issues within the loan processing workflow. Research may be required, including collaboration with team members and management, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of loan-related matters. The Commercial Loan Processing Specialist is also responsible for gathering documentation needed for audits related to this function and works closely with the Loan Processing Team to ensure that all loan files are complete, accurate, and audit‑ready. Required Skills/Abilities
Education/Experience Required A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous bank loan operations experience along with lending regulation and loan documentation knowledge is preferred. Compliance All associates have a responsibility to understand the Bank’s BSA/AML Program, the procedures outlined in it, and to follow the Program and procedures in carrying out their duties. When an associate has supervisory responsibilities, he or she will make certain that his/her staff understand the responsibilities to comply with applicable regulatory issues and internal programs, policies and procedures.
