As a Commercial Loan Processor, your work helps local businesses access the financing they need to grow, expand, and invest in their future.That's a big deal!You'll play a critical role in the commercial lending process by analyzing financial information, preparing loan documentation, coordinating third-party requirements, and ensuring every loan file is complete and compliant. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy help create a smooth experience for borrowers while protecting the credit union and supporting sound lending decisions.Here's what that looks like day to day:Analyze business financial statements, credit information, and supporting documentation to assist with commercial loan underwriting and approval processesGather, verify, and organize loan documentation while coordinating appraisals, title work, flood certifications, environmental reports, insurance certificates, and credit reportsPrepare loan documentation through LaserPro and support loan closings, funding processes, wire transfers, and post-closing follow-up activitiesMaintain complete and accurate digital loan files while tracking outstanding conditions and documentation requirementsSupport a variety of commercial lending products, including conventional commercial loans, SBA 7(a), SBA 504, and USDA loan programsSchedule: Monday-Friday during regular business hours at our Salt Lake City, Utah office.WHAT YOU BRINGBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred; equivalent education, training, and experience may be consideredMinimum 2 years of experience in real estate finance processing, commercial lending support, or a related lending roleStrong understanding of accounting principles and business financial statementsExperience analyzing financial information and preparing loan documentationProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and financial statement-spreading softwareStrong organizational skills, analytical ability, and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple deadlines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and teamwork skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with LaserPro loan documentation softwareExperience processing SBA 7(a), SBA 504, USDA, or other government-guaranteed loan programsKnowledge of commercial real estate lending documentation and closing requirementsWHY UTAH FIRST?Since 1935, Utah First Credit Union has been dedicated to strengthening communities, building meaningful relationships, and helping members achieve their financial goals.
