Commercial Maintenance Technician

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Commercial Maintenance Technician performs essential building maintenance tasks to ensure safe, functional commercial properties. This role reports directly to the Property Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete assigned maintenance service requests promptly and efficiently
Conduct monthly building inspections, including elevator and fire systems
Perform minor plumbing repairs (fixing leaks, unclogging drains)
Execute minor painting projects (surface preparation, applying paints and finishes)
Maintain accurate documentation of all inspections and work performed
Ensure all work meets company safety standards and guidelines
Carry company cell phone for on-call emergency maintenance
Submit timely and accurate timesheets and mileage reports
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally
Mobile enough to access various building areas for inspection and repair
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial building maintenance
Valid driver's license
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Strong communication skills with tenants and contractors
Professional appearance and demeanor
Excellent time management and organizational abilities
Commitment to ethical work practices
