Overview Confidential is seeking an experienced Commercial New Construction Plumbing Foreman to lead the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex plumbing systems on commercial construction sites. This field-based position requires someone local to Monroe who knows the upstate New York market; New York City residents are not a fit. Candidates should be prepared to provide examples of commercial worksite projects they have led. Responsibilities - Supervise and coordinate daily activities of plumbing apprentices and journeymen. - Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. - Manage timesheets and field reporting. - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for commercial plumbing and related mechanical systems. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards. - Conduct regular safety meetings and jobsite inspections. - Manage material inventory, order supplies, and verify proper use of construction materials. - Use Procore for project coordination and documentation. - Collaborate weekly with project managers, engineers, and other trades to coordinate schedules and resolve technical issues. Qualifications - At least 5 years of construction-plumbing experience with a strong background in commercial projects. - Previous foreman or lead experience preferred. - Strong blueprint-reading, schematic-interpretation, and mechanical knowledge. - Strong leadership and communication skills. - Ability to manage several priorities while maintaining high quality standards. - Familiarity with Procore. - Local knowledge of Monroe and the surrounding upstate New York service area.
