Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Operations Lead to oversee the end-to-end order management process and ensure seamless coordination between customers and internal departments. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing customer orders, commercial documentation, and cross-functional communication to ensure timely deliveries and exceptional customer service. This position requires strong commercial acumen, excellent coordination skills, and experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Manage the complete order lifecycle, from order receipt to dispatch and delivery.
  • Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, Quality, and Logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding order status, delivery schedules, quotations, and commercial queries.
  • Prepare and manage quotations, order confirmations, proforma invoices, and other commercial documents.
  • Monitor order progress and proactively communicate updates to customers.
  • Handle customer complaints and service requests while coordinating resolutions with internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales data, and commercial documentation.
  • Support the Sales team in customer relationship management and business development initiatives.
  • Generate and analyze sales, order, and customer service reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and commercial processes.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in Customer Service, Sales Coordination, Commercial Operations, or Order Management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good commercial and business acumen.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Tally ERP and order management systems will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
