Commercial Operations Specialist (Field Sales/Sales Operations)

Our client, a world leader in biotechnology and gene therapy, is looking for a Commercial Operations Specialist (Field Sales) based in Foster City, CA.

Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)

Pay Rate : $45/hr on W2

seeking an experienced Sales Operations professional to provide operational support across Fleet Operations, Sample Operations, and Field Enablement and reporting to the Sr. Director, Sales Operations. This role will coordinate day-to-day activities, maintain accurate records, support compliance requirements, resolve field inquiries, and generate reports and metrics for leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fleet Operations: Coordinate vehicle orders, transfers, disposals, registrations, driver compliance, data audits, reporting, and sustainability tracking.
  
• Sample Operations: Support training verification, inventory reconciliation, audits, CRM account updates, sample inquiries, discrepancy investigations, and compliance documentation.
  
• Field Enablement: Review exhibit and sponsorship requests for completeness, accuracy, policy compliance, and timelines; track event attestations and support licensing/credentialing escalations.
  
• Maintain accurate operational records, identify discrepancies, and coordinate timely resolution.
  
• Generate routine reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  
• Partner with field teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure operational compliance.
  

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience, including internships.
  
• Experience in Field Sales, Sales Operations, or Commercial Operations.
  
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  
• Experience handling multiple operational priorities and working with cross-functional stakeholders.
  

Preferred

• Experience with AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude.
  
• Experience supporting compliance, audits, CRM, fleet, samples, or field enablement operations.
