Job Title: Commercial Operations Specialist (Part-Time)

Location: Riverside, RI (Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Pay Rate: $24.17/hr on W2

Available Shifts (20 hours/week):

  • 1st Shift: Monday–Friday | 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM

  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday | 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a Commercial Operations Specialist to support commercial banking clients by providing exceptional service for Cash Management, ACH, and Commercial Card products. This role requires strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills to resolve client inquiries via phone, email, and chat while ensuring high service quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Cash Management, ACH, and Commercial Card customers via phone, email, and chat.

  • Research customer inquiries and educate clients on available banking products and services.

  • Resolve technical, procedural, and service-related issues or escalate when necessary.

  • Perform root cause analysis to identify recurring service issues and recommend process improvements.

  • Partner with internal operational teams to resolve client issues and minimize future occurrences.

  • Troubleshoot customer problems while maintaining excellent service standards.

  • Proactively communicate potential service risks and operational concerns to management.

  • Meet department productivity, quality, and service level expectations.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and provide timely follow-up to customers.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of customer service and call center experience.

  • Banking experience preferred, particularly supporting Commercial Banking, Cash Management, ACH, or Commercial Card products.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent phone etiquette and active listening skills.

  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Computer proficiency and familiarity with business applications.

  • Self-motivated with a strong customer service focus.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
