Responsibilities:

• Install commercial overhead doors, dock equipment, and related hardware at commercial job sites
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and installation specifications
• Perform adjustments, alignments, and quality checks to ensure proper door operation
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues in a timely and professional manner
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and lift equipment on job sites
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards
• Communicate professionally with site supervisors, contractors, and customers

Requirements:

• Proven experience in commercial overhead door installation or a closely related trade
• Ability to work independently as a 1099 independent contractor
• Strong knowledge of door hardware, tracks, springs, and operators
• Ability to read blueprints and follow technical installation instructions
• Must have reliable transportation and basic hand/power tools
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-friendly demeanor
