POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and fully Licensed Plumber with strong commercial plumbing experience to join our
growing team. This role involves working within our manufacturing facility and on project sites to install,
maintain, and inspect plumbing systems integrated into precast modular building units. The ideal candidate
thrives in a fast-paced production environment and has a deep understanding of commercial-grade plumbing
systems and codes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems within precast concrete modular units,
including rough-in and finish plumbing.
Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and project specifications for commercial plumbing
layouts.
Install and connect supply lines, drain-waste-vent (DWV) systems, sanitary sewer lines, storm drainage,
and domestic water systems.
Coordinate with structural engineers, project managers, and other trades to ensure plumbing systems are
correctly integrated into precast modules before and after assembly.
Ensure all plumbing work meets or exceeds local, state, and national plumbing codes (IPC, UPC, and
applicable local codes).
Perform pressure testing, leak detection, and system commissioning on completed assemblies.
Inspect installed systems and identify deficiencies or code violations and take corrective action.
Maintain accurate records of materials used, work completed, and inspections passed.
Mentor and oversee apprentice plumbers and helpers as needed.
Collaborate with the quality control team during module fabrication to ensure embedded plumbing
components are correctly placed and protected.
Adhere to all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and jobsite safety requirements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Valid and current Journeyman or Master Plumber license (state-issued; Master Plumber preferred).
Minimum 5 years of commercial plumbing experience required.
Demonstrated experience with commercial DWV systems, hydronic systems, medical gas, or process
piping is a plus.
Proficiency in reading commercial construction blueprints and plumbing schematics.
Knowledge of IPC, UPC, and applicable local plumbing and building codes.
Experience working with copper, PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and black steel pipe systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a coordinated construction or manufacturing team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physically able to perform the demands of the job including lifting up to 50 lbs, working in confined
spaces, and standing for extended periods.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in a manufacturing, prefabrication, or modular construction environment.
Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) or prefabrication coordination tools.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
Backflow prevention certification.
Experience with commercial fire suppression systems is a plus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position works in both a manufacturing facility and on external project sites. Candidates must be
comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including noise from heavy equipment and
construction activities.
