We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Plumber to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. This role is ideal for an individual with a solid background in Plumbing, who is eager to apply their expertise in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, installing plumbing systems, and ensuring compliance with building codes. This role requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, with a strong emphasis on New Construction and Commercial Plumbing.

Responsibilities:

1. Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.
2. Install pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids.
3. Install supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation.
4. Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of metals, such as iron and steel, and non-metals, such as PVC, and copper.
5. Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues that need repair or replacement.
6. Install and repair plumbing systems in commercial construction environments.
7. Collaborate with design and construction teams to ensure plumbing systems are properly integrated into construction plans.
8. Provide consultation on plumbing system design and installation to project stakeholders.
9. Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance are properly done and meet plumbing code standards.
10. Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems.
11. Perform underground, rough in, top out, and trim installations.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Plumber with a minimum of 5 years in the field.
2. Experience in commercial environments and new construction is essential.
3. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
4. Expertise in working with a variety of materials (e.g., cast iron, PVC, copper).
5. Familiarity with plumbing-related tasks including pipe installation, fixture installation, and system inspection.
6. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes.
8. Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex plumbing concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
9. Physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to handle heavy equipment and work in various conditions.
