Position: Commercial Plumbing Estimator

Schedule: In Person, Monday through Friday, 40–45 hours weekly (flexible based on workload and bid deadlines)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial plumbing projects
• Review blueprints, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform detailed takeoffs for piping systems, fixtures, and equipment
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams during handoff
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving strategies
• Maintain organized bid files and documentation
• Track bid results and adjust estimating strategies accordingly
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and clients

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum of 5–7 years of commercial plumbing experience (field or estimating)
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems and construction practices
• Proven experience in estimating and takeoffs (preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software
• Knowledge of state and local plumbing codes
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and self-motivated
