About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Plumbing Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and lead the company’s expansion into Arizona.
This is a leadership position for someone with proven experience managing operations for a $5M–$15M commercial plumbing or mechanical contractor. The ideal candidate understands both field operations and the business side of construction, with a strong track record of leading teams, improving efficiency, and increasing profitability.

Responsibilities
Manage daily commercial plumbing operations
Lead project managers, superintendents, foremen, and office staff
Develop and launch the Arizona Division
Recruit and build field and operations teams
Manage manpower planning and scheduling
Monitor labor productivity and job profitability
Review contracts, RFIs, submittals, budgets, and change orders
Improve operational systems and processes
Maintain relationships with general contractors and owners
Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
Travel throughout Southern California and Arizona as needed
Qualifications
Required:
10–15 years of commercial plumbing or mechanical contracting experience
Leadership experience with a $5M–$15M contractor
Experience managing multiple commercial construction projects
Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems
Experience with scheduling, labor management, job costing, and profitability
Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
Strong leadership and communication skills
Preferred:
Experience opening or managing a new branch
Experience scaling a commercial contractor
Southern California commercial construction experience
Arizona construction experience
