    Description

    Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support commercial construction projects with a strong focus on Office Tenant Improvement (TI) work. This role works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, and clients to help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.

    The ideal candidate has experience supporting fast-paced commercial TI projects and understands the coordination required for occupied buildings, office renovations, and tenant build-outs.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with day-to-day project coordination
    • Support commercial and office TI projects from preconstruction through closeout
    • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation
    • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, material deliveries, and project schedules
    • Track project progress, budgets, and procurement activities
    • Review plans, specifications, and contract documents for accuracy and scope coordination
    • Help maintain project schedules and assist with short-interval planning
    • Participate in OAC meetings, subcontractor meetings, and site walks
    • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and quality control requirements
    • Assist with permit tracking, inspections, punch lists, and project closeout documentation
    • Maintain strong communication with clients, architects, engineers, and field teams
    • Support projects in active or occupied commercial environments with minimal disruption to tenants
