Description

The Construction Project Manager will:

  • Provide overall leadership to assigned project teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage and develop staff to maximize performance and career growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Understand, negotiate, and administer contract and subcontract agreements
  • Establish, communicate, and execute project schedules
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Interpret cost reports and ensure adherence to project budgets
  • Lead project meetings and coordinate all project stakeholders
  • Oversee procurement, subcontractor buyouts, and material purchasing
  • Manage Quality Assurance and Quality Control programs
  • Identify and mitigate project risks
  • Provide leadership in contract negotiations, change order management, and pricing decisions
  • Ensure compliance with company, client, and safety standards

Profile

The successful Construction Project Manager will have:

  • 5+ years of Commercial Construction Project Management experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Experience managing ground-up and renovation commercial projects
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration
  • OSHA certification preferred
  • Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and successfully deliver projects
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
