Commercial Project Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage one or more commercial construction projects through all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Serve as the primary liaison between owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
• Review contract documents and oversee project buyout, subcontract negotiations, procurement, and purchasing activities.
• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, cost controls, monthly billings, and financial reporting.
• Prepare, negotiate, and administer change orders, RFIs, submittals, and other project documentation.
• Collaborate with field leadership to develop and maintain project schedules, sequencing plans, and milestone tracking.
• Coordinate material procurement and ensure timely delivery of critical equipment and supplies.
• Lead project meetings, including owner, architect, subcontractor, and coordination meetings.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, contract requirements, and applicable building codes.
• Oversee implementation of project QA/QC programs, inspections, punch lists, closeout documentation, warranties, and owner turnover.
• Promote and enforce company safety policies while ensuring compliance with all jobsite safety requirements.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve project issues.
• Mentor, develop, and provide leadership to Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other project staff.
• Foster strong customer relationships while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction throughout the project.
