Description
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead full lifecycle commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining quality standards
- Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Manage schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Utilize construction management software for tracking and reporting
- Partner with Superintendents and Assistant PMs to oversee field operations
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company protocols
- Mentor and develop junior team members
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance project team environment
Profile
Project Manager Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Project Manager
- Background working with a general contractor required
- Proven success delivering projects in healthcare, education, or light industrial sectors
- Strong knowledge of construction documents and specifications
- Experience with scheduling software (Primavera P6 or MS Project preferred)
- Familiarity with budgeting and cost control tools
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
