Description
We are seeking a Commercial Project Manager with strong General Contractor experience to lead ground-up and tenant improvement (TI) projects in Glendale and the greater Los Angeles area.
This role requires full ownership of projects from preconstruction through closeout, including budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, and client coordination. The ideal candidate has experience operating in Southern California and understands local permitting, inspections, and jurisdictional requirements.
Responsibilities
Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts
Lead subcontractor bidding, scope review, and buyout process
Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and clients
Ensure compliance with Glendale and Los Angeles County building codes, permitting, and safety regulations
Monitor project costs and proactively identify risks or delays
Lead OAC meetings and maintain strong client communication
Manage project closeout, punch lists, and final turnover
Requirements
5–10+ years of experience with a General Contractor
