Job Description

  • Represent developers, investors, lenders, borrowers, landlords, tenants, and business owners in complex commercial real estate transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, financing agreements, and development-related contracts.
  • Structure and negotiate commercial lending, acquisition, construction, bridge, and permanent financing transactions.
  • Conduct due diligence, including title, survey, zoning, land use, and regulatory reviews.
  • Manage commercial real estate transactions from initial negotiations through closing and post-closing matters.
  • Advise clients on permitting, development, title, land use, and related commercial real estate issues.
  • Collaborate with attorneys across corporate, finance, tax, and other practice groups on multidisciplinary transactions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to business development initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active New Jersey Bar admission required.
  • 4+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience.
  • Experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, commercial lending, and financing transactions.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple sophisticated transactions.
  • Excellent client communication and relationship management skills.
  • New York Bar admission is a plus.
  • Experience with zoning, land use, title, due diligence, and development matters is preferred.
