WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Represent clients in acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development transactions
- Counsel developers, investors, and lenders on real estate secured financings, joint ventures, and governance
- Draft, negotiate, and revise agreements for diverse commercial real estate matters
- Advise clients on zoning appeals, property tax assessments, workforce housing agreements, and entitlement issues
- Manage and close complex transactions with minimal supervision
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless deal execution
WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admission to the South Carolina Bar (or eligibility for admission)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial real estate experience
- Strong expertise in real estate finance, zoning, entitlement, and land use
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions independently
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client communication skills
Preferred
- Experience representing developers, lenders, and institutional clients
- Background negotiating joint ventures and structured real estate deals
- Prior work with large-scale development or mixed‑use projects
