We are working with a Connecticut law firm seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Associate to join its transactional real estate practice located in the Greater Hartford area.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with at least two years of substantive commercial real estate experience who enjoys sophisticated transactional work but is looking for the collegiality, accessibility, and work-life balance of a smaller firm. The firm offers a collaborative environment with reasonable expectations and an emphasis on producing excellent work without the billable-hour pressures often associated with larger law firms.
The firm's commercial real estate practice represents buyers, sellers, developers, investors, and real estate holding companies in a broad range of transactions involving retail, commercial, mixed-use, raw land, multifamily, office, and other investment properties throughout Connecticut.

Because of the size of the firm and the nature of the practice, this is not an entry-level position. The successful candidate should have a solid foundation in transactional commercial real estate law and be comfortable handling the core components of a transaction without extensive foundational training.
Compensation
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $125,000–$160,000. This range is a good-faith estimate and is not intended to represent a fixed salary scale. Actual compensation will be determined based on the experience, qualifications, skill set, and overall background of the attorney ultimately selected for the position.
