Required Education, Experience, Licensure(s)/Certification(s), Skills etc.:

• Certified General Appraiser in the State of Ohio
• Experience providing testimony to support opinion of value
• Review appraisal work
• Excellent communication, analytical and computer skills
• Positive can-do attitude

Summary of Job Duties:

• Perform duties supporting valuation appraisal of commercial property at a fair and accurate market value
• Data collection by conducting on-site measurements and inspections including new construction and review of blueprints
• Provide testimony for the Board of Revision, Board of Tax Appeal and Court of Common Pleas
• Appraisal review for purposes of Board of Revision, Board of Tax Appeal and Court of Common Pleas
• Perform field work in your own vehicle (with mileage reimbursement)
• Application of appraisal terms, principles and techniques
• Possess the skills to interact with the public, tax agents and attorneys
