Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
Location: Charlotte, NC
Position Summary
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal for a respected boutique law firm in Charlotte. This role will support attorneys with commercial real estate transactions, due diligence, title review, entity formation, closing coordination, and post-closing administration. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a growing practice serving developers, investors, entrepreneurs, and private clients.
Responsibilities
Assist with commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing matters.
Prepare, review, and coordinate contracts, closing documents, title documents, and other transaction-related materials.
Conduct title review, due diligence investigations, legal research, and corporate research.
Coordinate closings and communicate with clients, lenders, title companies, opposing counsel, and other parties.
Manage post-closing activities, including recording, file maintenance, title policy review, and preparation of closing binders.
Assist with business entity formations, annual filings, corporate governance matters, and compliance requirements.
Maintain organized and accurate client and transaction files.
Provide ongoing support to attorneys and the firm's commercial real estate practice.
Requirements
Paralegal certificate or equivalent law firm paralegal experience.
Experience supporting commercial real estate transactions and closings.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal technology platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Paralegal Studies.
North Carolina Certified Paralegal (NCCP) designation.
Active North Carolina Notary Public commission.
Experience with title review, due diligence, and post-closing administration.
Knowledge of entity formations, corporate filings, and compliance matters.
Experience with legal practice management, document management, recording, closing, or trust accounting software.

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
