    Description

    A full-service real estate development company in Greenville, SC, is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join their team.Responsibilities Act as lead internal legal contact on various categories of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, financings, land development, and dispositions.Draft and / or review all manner of transaction-related documents, including sales and purchase contracts, amendments, notices, and closing-related documentation.Coordinate obtaining, and then track, review and analyze, project-specific due diligence - including title commitments, surveys, zoning and environmental reports, and title exception documents.Maintain and manage critical dates, transaction checklists and closing timelines.Interact with Company Principals, outside counsel, title companies, lenders, vendors, and municipal agencies to drive projects to closing.Maintain, manage and preserve all transactional and legal documentation throughout life of project.Qualifications Knowledge of commercial real estate transactions and land development processes3–5 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on complex commercial real estate transactionsStrong comprehension of contract clauses and componentsUnderstanding of corporate entity structuresAbility to think analyticallyWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteProcess-driven, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Paralegal Certificate and/or Bachelor's degree preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
