Carter Services is hiring an experienced full-time Commercial Refrigeration & HVAC Technician! We''re a leader in residential and commercial trade services, and we''re looking for the right person to help service all kinds of heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems/equipment.

Location: Torrance, CA, serving the South Bay

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00/hour (based on experience/qualifications)

What You''ll Bring:

• EPA universal certification
• 3+ years of commercial HVAC/R field service experience
• Excellent electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret schematics
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions/temperatures
• Effective, professional English communication skills (verbal/written) and customer service skills
• Valid driver''s license and a clean driving record (no major violations)

Our ideal Commercial Refrigeration & HVAC Technician has experience creating job records, generating estimates, and invoicing customers through ServiceTitan (or a similar CRM), but it''s not required if you''re willing to learn.

Commercial Refrigeration & HVAC Technician Responsibilities:

You''ll travel to locations throughout the South Bay to expertly inspect, diagnose, and service clients'' heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This includes walk-in coolers, ice machines, rooftop units, and more. While on-site, you''ll communicate with customers about their needs, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and perform safe, compliant repairs and maintenance services. You''ll keep track of the work you perform and the parts you use to support accurate billing and cost-tracking. As a professional representative of our company, it''s vital that you deliver quality work, treat every customer respectfully, and maintain an organized, well-stocked work vehicle.
