Commercial/Residential Journeyman

Now Hiring Traveling-Licensed Journeyman and Ropers for a large-scale multi-family project in Napa, CA. and Healdsburg,CA (12 Month+ Project)

Responsibilities and Duties

• Rope Units
• Pull electrical wire including CAT 5, low voltage and underground feeder wire
• Dig trenches and work in trenches
• Identify and separate wires by color
• Install and secure cables, raceways, and other conductors
• Carry material and tools from location to location (possibly up to 75bs)
• Assist in moving heavy electrical equipment
• Electrical terminations
• Hand bending pipe and other forms of conduit
• Work in electrical panels and manage wires
• Clean up individual work area as well as job site
• Work on extension ladders, scaffolds, and scissor lifts (possibly up to 100feet)
• Work with power tools and hand tools possibly over head
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment at all times while on the job site

Qualifications

• Valid CA General Electrician License a plus
• 3-5 years of Commercial and Multi-Family experience
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet production requirements
• Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and use of hands and arms to operate equipment. Must have a strong sense of balance and no fear of heights. Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
