What You'll Be Doing
As a Commercial Roofer, you'll install, repair, and maintain commercial flat roofing systems on projects throughout Wisconsin. Working alongside an experienced crew, you'll help deliver high-quality workmanship while maintaining Wenger's commitment to safety, teamwork, and excellence.
You'll work with:
- Commercial flat roofing systems
- Roofing membranes and insulation systems
- Flashing and edge metal
- Roofing adhesives and fastener systems
- Hand tools and power tools
- Ladders, lifts, and other construction equipment
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the installation and repair of commercial flat roofing systems.
- Performing general construction tasks, including site preparation, material handling, and jobsite cleanup.
- Installing and replacing roofing materials using hand and power tools.
- Following all OSHA regulations and Wenger Construction safety standards.
- Working efficiently with your crew to complete projects safely and on schedule.
- Learning and applying new commercial roofing techniques and installation methods.
- Assisting with lifting, staging materials, and installing roofing components.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
What We're Looking For
You'll be a great fit if you have:
- At least 2 years of construction experience.
- Commercial flat roofing experience is preferred but not required—we're willing to train the right candidate.
- Experience safely operating hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
- A strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship.
- A positive attitude, dependable attendance, and willingness to learn.
- The ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 pounds and working at heights.
- A valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel to jobsites throughout Wisconsin (no overnight travel required).
