We are partnered with a growing Commercial Roofing contractor located in Chicago, IL. They are looking for a Commercial Roofing Estimator to join their team! This is a hybrid position.
Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to drive their commercial and industrial roofing business forward. As a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for:
- Responding to RFPs, preparing bids, and securing new roofing jobs
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Conducting onsite roof surveys to estimate preventative maintenance, services, and projects
- Identifying sales opportunities from preventative maintenance, due diligence reports, and service repairs
Key Responsibilities
- Estimate and bid on commercial and industrial roofing projects
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, contractors, and manufacturers
- Conduct site surveys and prepare estimates for roofing services
- Collaborate with service and project management teams to transition proposals to active projects
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards, processes, and techniques
Requirements
- Experience in commercial roofing estimation
- In-depth knowledge of single-ply roofing materials and attachment methods
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in spreadsheets and calculations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver a 28' ladder independently, as well as perform other physically demanding tasks as needed
$70k - $105k DOE + Bonus/Commission
