We are partnered with a growing Commercial Roofing contractor located in Chicago, IL. They are looking for a Commercial Roofing Estimator to join their team! This is a hybrid position.
Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to drive their commercial and industrial roofing business forward. As a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for:
Responding to RFPs, preparing bids, and securing new roofing jobs
Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers
Conducting onsite roof surveys to estimate preventative maintenance, services, and projects
Identifying sales opportunities from preventative maintenance, due diligence reports, and service repairs
Key Responsibilities
Estimate and bid on commercial and industrial roofing projects
Develop and maintain relationships with customers, contractors, and manufacturers
Conduct site surveys and prepare estimates for roofing services
Collaborate with service and project management teams to transition proposals to active projects
Stay up-to-date with industry standards, processes, and techniques
Requirements
Experience in commercial roofing estimation
In-depth knowledge of single-ply roofing materials and attachment methods
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in spreadsheets and calculations
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver a 28' ladder independently, as well as perform other physically demanding tasks as needed
