Commercial Roofing Estimator
Location: Jessup, MD
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our growing team in Jessup, MD. This position is responsible for preparing accurate estimates and competitive bids for commercial roofing, waterproofing, and sheet metal projects while working closely with vendors, subcontractors, and project teams.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed estimates for commercial roofing, waterproofing, and sheet metal projects.
- Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents.
- Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
- Develop competitive proposals and bid packages.
- Track bids, negotiate pricing, and provide best and final offers.
- Review contracts and proposals to ensure scope and pricing accuracy.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and industry partners.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to expand business relationships.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience required.
- Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems and manufacturer specifications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Prior project management experience is a plus.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and employment verification.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Starting at $75,000-95,000+, based on experience.
